Edward M. Scheckowitz, MD, FACS, earned his master’s degree and medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed two years of general surgery followed by a four-year urology residency at University Hospitals Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Scheckowitz is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, board certified by the American Board of Urology, and is an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). He has been on the staff at Delray Medical Center since 2002, serving two terms as chairman of surgery and as a member of the governing board. Dr. Scheckowitz also has been on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and is a consultant at Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Scheckowitz has been recognized by Castle Connolly, a health care provider directory, as one of its “Top Doctors,” and specializes in both surgical and nonsurgical treatments for a wide range of urologic disorders.
